Will Pucovski still a chance for Gabba Test after suffering shoulder injury at SCG

It’s been confirmed precocious Australia batsman Will Pucovski suffered a shoulder subluxation at the SCG, but the 22-year-old hasn’t yet been ruled out of Friday’s fourth Test.

Pucovski departed the field during day five of the SCG Test after performing an awkward dive in the field.

The Victorian underwent scans of his right shoulder and was seen icing the injury in a sling.

Pucovski will continue to rest and rehabilitate over the next two days, before a decision on his availability for The Gabba Test is made.

No one has been added to Australia’s Test squad for the final match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy series.
