The 11-year-old son of champion Tiger Woods has taken the golf world by storm, displaying a flawless swing during an appearance at the PGA Tour’s Father-Son tournament.
A video of Charlie’s swing, shared by the PGA Tour Champions account, has been viewed more than 3 million times in just eight hours.
“I don’t know if his swing is any different than mine, but his feels are very similar in creating shots,” Tiger said. “He has this opportunity to enjoy and he’s doing that.”
In an extension of the family affair, Charlie’s caddie for this week’s tournament is Joe LaCava Jr, the son of his father’s caddie.
Charlie is not short on confidence either, according to world No.3 Justin Thomas.
“For some reason, Charlie just always wants to beat me, it doesn’t matter what it is,” Thomas said.
Although he’s never beaten me in golf or a putting contest, he still talks trash just like his dad.
“It will be fun. We’ll have that like inner tournament within a tournament, trying to shut his little mouth up, but it will be fun.”
