Australian GP postponed to November 21, Bahrain GP to start 2021 World Championship

The Australian Grand Prix won’t take place until November 21, the governing of Formula 1 has revealed.

The Formula 1 World Championship traditionally begins in Melbourne in March, but Australia’s strict stance on travel and the emergence of a second strain of COVID-19 has forced the event to be postponed.

The 2021 season will instead begin with the Bahrain Grand Prix on March 28.
